Downhill riding is booming in popularity, and for a good reason! There’s little that matches the rush that comes with gravity rides. University of Canberra Stromlo Forest Park's (UC Stromlo's) downhill pedigree is impressive, and includes the original downhill runs developed and used for Round 6 of the 2008 UCI World Cup and the 2009 UCI World Mountain Bike Championships. Since then, changes have been made to increase the flow and additional runs have been built to offer more variety and accessibility for all abilities, with green through to double diamond black options available. Check out our dedicated downhill runs on the park map
Our downhill flow trails are great for those wanting to hone their jumping skills with several trails offering a range of jumps throughout. On the green and blue trails, jumps can also be rolled for those still building their confidence.
Of course you can ride to the top of the mountain but why not save your legs and catch the Stromlo shuttle!
