Love University of Canberra Stromlo Forest Park? Interested in volunteering at UCStromlo?
Our volunteer program, co-run by Iconic Trails, will focus initially on mountain bike trail maintenance with a view to develop as we gain momentum. Each session can take 20 participants, meeting once a month on Saturday mornings.
Participants are based on a first in basis (provided individuals meet all criteria) so if you're interested, please read the UC Stromlo Volunteer Policy and Code of Conduct below, before downloading the UC Stromlo Volunteer Registration Form. All forms must be completed and sent to stromloforestpark@act.gov.au to complete signup.
Please note all volunteers are required to provide their own appropriate PPE (at a minimum, long sleeved shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and broad-brim hat). Working tools will be provided onsite.
The program has a minimum age of at least 8 years old at the time of engagement. Parents/guardians are required to supervise 8-15 year olds.
