Parking at UC Stromlo


Help to support your facility! All parking funds will be reinvested back into the facility to make it the best destination it can be.

In response to increased visitation and to help improve user safety, the ACT Government has upgraded University of Canberra Stromlo Forest Park (UC Stromlo) carpark.

The new carpark provides 487 parking spaces, including a free 15 minute drop off zone, motorbike parking, longer vehicle parking and accessible parking.

Paid parking times reflects the same opening hours as the park: 6am-6pm during non-daylight savings time and 6am-9pm during daylight savings time.

The parking machines will accept credit card and cash as payment.

Coins accepted are: 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2, No change is issued.

Visa and Mastercard accepted.

EasyPark App

Car parking meters accommodate the "EasyPark" app that enables your parking time to be adjusted throughout your stay (extended or shortened), if within the time limit.

The EasyPark area code for UC Stromlo is 33340. This code also displayed on the parking machines.

Annual Parking Pass

An optional $87 (including GST) annual car parking pass sticker will be available for park users to purchase, equating to $1.67 per week, or 24 cents per day across a year.

Parking pass stickers will be sent out in early 2024. Until then a temporary parking pass will be supplied.

You can pick up your annual carpark pass from the National Arboretum Canberra Village Centre information desk, open 7 days a week from 9am to 4pm (closed 25 December). Or you can have it posted to you for a small postage fee. Annual passes will be processed during general business hours Monday to Friday, with the exception public holidays and from 25 December 2023 to 2 January 2024. You will be notified when they are ready to collect. If you opted for postage they will be sent as per Australia Post timeframes.

The annual parking pass needs to be applied on the inside of the windscreen, at the top on the passenger’s side.
