Uriarra Road Upgrade Works – Commencing 29 September 2025
Upgrade works on Uriarra Road, associated with the Stromlo Forest Anglican College, will begin on 29 September 2025 and continue through to January 2026. During this period, Uriarra Road will be closed between Opperman Avenue and Swallowtail Road.
We encourage all Stromlo Forest Park visitors to take note of the following changes::
- The equestrian crossing will remain open and accessible during the works.
- A 20km speed limit will apply when entering Stromlo Forest Park.
- Pedestrians and non-road cyclists will be directed to Pipeline Road instead of the Criterium Track.
- Additional signage will be installed around car parks to assist with walking and cycling access.
- Road cyclists may continue to use existing road routes.
